The Vermouth, as Promised
Funnily enough, last night as soon as I published the post I was writing, Mr. H. came and suggested that we could go over to Vermuteria Loú for dinner. Of course I accepted because the food there is excellent. And also because I wanted to take a photo of their vermouth. Great!
Vermut, as it’s called in Spanish, is an alcoholic drink made of a complex aromatic concoction of herbs, spices, flowers, bark and goodness knows what other plant derived matters in a base of white wine. Its typically drank as an aperitif.
Thank you for visiting!
